Wednesday, December 16, 2015 was the day of my very 1st orchestra concert! We performed many songs including, Jingle Bells, Up on the Housetop, and Ode to Joy. I practiced a lot for this concert and I was very excited! Once we all got on the stage, I could see the audience waving  and cheering. The bright lights shone on me and I was really nervous, but once we started playing, it sounded so good! I only messed up once! After the concert was over, my mom took a lot of pictures. My 1st orchestra concert was so fun!

It’s almost winter break! 7 more days until I get to sit in a car for 9 hours until we reach Ohio. The holidays are so fun. You see amazing lights and Christmas decor everywhere and everyone is so happy! Winter break is very long. There’s Christmas and New Years! I am so exited! Soon it will be 2016! I can’t wait!

I am going to Ohio next Tuseday to visit family. I will be spending a 9 hour car ride with my little cousins, they will want to sing Christmas songs on the way there. Once we get to Ohio we will meet more family! I will meet my newest cousin who was born just a few months ago! I can’t wait to open my presents on Christmas Day! We will probably build snowmen and make snow angels. It will be a another year, 2016! Winter break is going to be so fun this year! Happy Holidays everyone!

 

Dear Rain,

Why do you fall so much and make everything wet? Can’t you keep yourself up? You are so clumsy! Sometimes you’re snow, sometimes you’re sleet, sometimes you’re hail… make up your mind! You always slosh around and make us all feel dejected. Sometimes when you fall, there is loud, booming thunder. It scares all of the little kids! Whenever you fall, its so wet and it takes forever to dry again! Rain, you are so annoying, you make the rest of the day all gloomy and sad. Every time you fall we have to stay inside for the whole day. Rain, everything is so boring when you fall!
